Biography
Attorney Razavi started his legal career on one of the busiest federal court dockets in the country, where he analyzed procedural issues for large commercial disputes and drafted court motion documents as a judicial intern for a U.S. Magistrate Judge. As he assisted the Judge preside over deal disputes, his understanding of the importance of proper contracts and deal structuring took shape.
After the experience in federal court, Attorney Razavi began tax consulting at PwC for the transactions of Fortune 500 companies. His projects focused on planning and controversies with the government authorities, and the telecommunication and insurance industries. Recognized as a staff leader, he guest taught technical subjects for the internal curriculum, and co-chaired a management advisory committee where he led regional initiatives and presentations to leadership.
Leveraging his experience with large deals and high-caliber attorney teams, Attorney Razavi opened an office in the year 2016 and began advising his own clients, under the outfit of Razavi Legal.
Education and credentials
Attorney Razavi earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Pace University, and a Juris Doctor from Syracuse University where he graduated cum laude and secured a certificate in Advanced Property Studies. He also holds certificates in Estate Planning and Corporate Counsel, and spent time in the legal clinic working on securities arbitration cases.
As a law student at Syracuse, he held leadership positions, was recognized by the Dean for community service, and represented the school at national and international student competitions.
He is a licensed attorney in New York and a registered representative with the financial industry (Series 7 and 63).
Attorney Razavi recently served as a Subcommittee Chair at the New York City Bar Association, and a council member for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, where he still volunteers as a wish grantor.
He appreciates teaching and speaking about a variety of real estate topics. He is certified by the NYS Department of State as an instructor of real estate courses, and frequently teaches and lectures.
